Integrated Ducting Systems (IDS) have been working with engineers from A-One+ on the specification works for chambers for the above street lighting scheme.

IDS are pleased to say that they will be supplying their range of twin wall chambers to site via their partners Burdens at Nottingham.

Highway Agency Signs Agreement with British Land PLC

Enabling Sustainable Development was the focus on Friday (24 October) as the Highways Agency met with 120 key stakeholders from the development and planning sector to discuss how everyone can work together to improve the planning and development process.

The Highways Agency hosted its second annual Stakeholder Development Forum at the Manchester Central Conference and Exhibition Centre.

This year's theme of Enabling Sustainable Development focused on how the Highways Agency can help stakeholders bring together sustainable development and transport planning.

IDS were pleased to represent the WTB Group at Intertraffic 2008. This biannual event is held at the RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam. This is the largest exhibition of its type in the world. The exhibition is aimed at traffic professionals from around the world where they are able to view the latest products. Intertraffic featured over 650 exhibitors from around the world.

Ids innovations within the traffic signals industry

New developments from Ids include fully automated rotomoulding manufacturing processes ensuring greater quality control and uniformity of access chambers. Pre trepanned cut outs to include 178mm o.d. ducting on selected chambers. Ductile iron frames for greater strength and stability with 12.5 tonne loadings on composite covers. Frames to suit block paving surrounds of both 60mm and 80mm depths.
