See IDS at the 14th JCT Traffic Signal Symposium & Traffic Exhibition
Integrated Ducting Systems (IDS) will be exhibiting at the 14th JCT Traffic Signal Symposium & Exhibition on 23rd - 24th September 2009.
Venue
The University of Hertfordshire's de Havilland Campus will be this year's venue and it boasts both impressive facilities and a good reputation.
The de Havilland campus is roughly 5 minutes north of the M25 and is easily accessible from J3 or J4 of the A1. Accommodation is ensuite with tea/coffee facilities, a personal refrigerator and free internet access. Sporting facilities include free use of swimming pool and gym to all residential delegates.
Papers
The JCT Symposium is the only dedicated traffic signal event in the UK and promises a range of innovative and interesting papers with broad coverage of the traffic signals industry, and discussion backed up by a wealth of national and international expertise. Previous symposia have hosted presentations covering such topics as design, training, modelling, microsimulation, new technologies, environmental issues, legislation, good practice, safety, auditing, information management, bus priority and intelligent transport systems. The current list of confirmed papers can be found via the JCT web site.
Underground Access Chambers
The IDS stand will feature our range of underground access chambers for underground cabling. The IDS Mark 2 chambers are constructed from sectional units with duct entry points where required.
The environmental benefits of the product range are clearly substantial. IDS Mark 2 doesn’t require a concrete surround and is manufactured from 100% recycled plastic. What’s more the structural integrity of the product enables it to withstand in excess of C250 loading ‘free standing.’ We’ll also be showing the new traffic signal pole socket.
