IDS Exhibiting at Traffex 2009
Integrated Ducting Systems (IDS) will be exhibiting at Traffex 2009, the 24th international traffic engineering, intelligent transport systems, road safety and highway maintenance exhibition. See IDS the industry leading specialists in innovative ducting systems technologies and below ground access chambers at stand H31.
Traffex 2009 is being held at the NEC in Birmingham between 21st – 23rd April. This year’s event focuses on intelligent transport systems together with new technologies to help solve the increasing issues centered around urban and regional travel across the world.
Passive Safety Zone
The event will also have additional unique features, such as the Passive Safety Zone, an area where visitors can see real cars being tested with both non passive and passively safe products.
IDS will be exhibiting their traffic signal pole socket at the event which was recently successfully crash tested at MIRA as part of the Passive Revolution Crash Test Event. The IDS pole socket enables contractors to rapidly replace traffic poles in under 10 minutes, based on 2 operators conducting the replacement. For more information on the crash test and replacement process view the MIRA slide show.
The Latest In Below Ground Access Chambers & Ducting System Development
The IDS Mark II below ground access chamber system has been developed with sustainability and contractor installation in mind. Manufactured from 100% recycled plastic the IDS Mark II access chambers are also 100% recycable.
The injection moulded patented twin wall design provides superior strength to the extent that the product achieves C250 loading ‘free standing’ with no concrete surround. Access chambers are constructed using sections with a nominal 150mm depth with duct entry sections to be used where applicable. For more information view our IDS Mark II pages.
Aldridge Traffic Systems
Integrated Ducting Systems are working in partnership with Aldridge Traffic Systems.
Aldridge design, manufacture and supply products and services to the traffic signalling industry and will be exhibiting their range of LED traffic signals on the IDS stand as well as the Clearsonics WayPhone – a hands free communication product for use as an emergency/breakdown phone.
IDS are looking forward to another successful exhibition at Traffex 2009. For more information on Traffex and its partner events, Street Design and Parkex please visit www.traffex.com
